Why washing machine disposal is regulated
Washing machines contain steel drums, copper motors, and electronic control boards worth recovering. Under Hong Kong's WEEE producer-responsibility scheme, they must be processed at the WEEE·PARK facility in Tuen Mun via a licensed operator. We're WPRS-compliant and can issue a written disposal certificate for offices, service apartments, or landlords who need proof.
Water disconnect included
Our crew arrives with the right spanner set. We close the wall valves, disconnect the cold-water inlet (and hot on some units), remove the drainage hose from the standpipe, and tilt the machine to drain residual water into a bucket before carrying it out. If your hoses are seized or corroded, we bring replacement washers so nothing leaks when the next tenant reconnects. No plumber needed for a routine disconnect.
Alternative: EPD free collection
When you buy a new washing machine from a registered seller, you can arrange free statutory collection through the EPD's WEEE hotline 2676 8888. Booking window is 2–4 weeks and collection is from the flat entrance only. Our paid same-day service carries from the utility area/kitchen and disconnects water — useful when you're on a move-out deadline.
