Why TV disposal is regulated in Hong Kong
Televisions can contain leaded glass (older CRTs) and mercury (backlights on some LCDs). Hong Kong treats them as regulated electrical appliances: by law they can't be left out with regular refuse and must be handled by a licensed operator.
Wall-mount removal
We can take your TV down from the wall as part of the job; tell us it's wall-mounted when you send photos and it's included in your quote. Renters and homeowners preparing to move often also want the bracket removed and the wall patched. The work can include:
- Safe dismount from the wall bracket (two-person for 55"+)
- Bracket removal from wall studs or expansion anchors
- Filler and light sanding to prep the wall for paint
- Take-away of all removed hardware
