Fixed quote in about 15 minutes; no oversize charge for king mattresses.
What we take
- Single and double innerspring mattresses
- Queen and king memory-foam or hybrid mattresses (including 1800×2000mm)
- Japanese tatami-style mattresses and futons
- Latex, gel and pillow-top mattresses
- Box-spring bases (dismantled if needed)
- Air mattresses and waterbeds (drained on request)
- Adjustable / electric bed frames (we detach and take the mattress; frame goes separately if requested)
Why mattress disposal is tricky in Hong Kong flats
Two problems: mattresses are heavy (a queen mattress is 30–50 kg), and they don't fit standard lifts on their side. Our crew folds queen and king mattresses using tension straps for the lift ride, or takes the staircase for walk-ups. We bag every mattress in a sealed cover before it leaves your flat — this prevents dust, bed-bug transport risk, and keeps the building corridor clean. Bagging is included in the quoted price.
Where your mattress goes
Where the mattress is in reusable condition (rare — most are 5+ years old and stained), we route to Salvation Army if they will accept. Otherwise the mattress goes to the EPD's Community Recycling Network where the steel springs, foam and fabric are separated for material recovery. Non-recoverable elements go via licensed carrier to the West New Territories Landfill.
How we quote
WhatsApp a photo of the mattress plus:
- Size (single / double / queen / king)
- Building name and floor
- Lift or walk-up
- Any bed frame you also want removed
Fixed all-in quote in about 15 minutes. Same-day available across all districts.
Mattress disposal FAQ
Can you take a king-size mattress from a small flat?
Yes. King mattresses (1800mm wide) don't fit small HK lifts — we fold them for the lift ride using tension straps, or dismantle box-spring bases. Standard rate; no oversize charge.
How do you dispose of an old mattress in Hong Kong legally?
Domestic mattresses aren't regulated waste in Hong Kong, but they're bulky and can't go in normal building refuse rooms. We bag every mattress in a sealed cover, transport via licensed collection, and route to the EPD's Community Recycling Network where possible. Non-recyclable mattresses go via licensed carrier to landfill. Disposal is included in your quote.
Can I get same-day mattress pickup?
Almost always. WhatsApp before noon and you'll usually get a same-day slot. Service runs 08:00–22:00 every day including public holidays.
Do you take mattresses with bed bugs?
Yes. Flag it at booking so the crew brings sealed heavy-duty bags to prevent transport contamination. There's no extra charge.
Should I try selling the mattress instead?
Honestly, no. Hong Kong second-hand mattress demand is near zero because of hygiene concerns. If yours is under 2 years old and clean, try Carousell — but expect no offers. For anything older, disposal is faster and cheaper than the time you'll spend trying to sell.
